Hasan Kalyoncu University has adopted the understanding of “knowledge is the highest quality” in order to build an institution at international standards. The quality policy of our university offers the best educational opportunities to our students (contributes to both Turkey and the world society with an entrepreneurial and innovative perspective, improves research-development and management processes in the education-training process. It establishes quality assurance mechanisms for continuous improvement of processes. Internal and external monitors the needs and feedback of stakeholders and aims to raise national and international education standards.
In order to establish and maintain the quality assurance system, Higher Education Quality Board Institutional Evaluation Program, Bologna process, European Standards and Directives (ASY / ESG) are taken as basis. Studies are carried out under the responsibility of the Quality Commission with the active participation of the University’s senior management.
Hasan Kalyoncu University Quality Assurance System has been designed by taking into account the mechanisms, evaluation processes, and related monitoring and evaluation activities that it has created to determine quantitatively and qualitatively that it has achieved its strategies and goals in line with its vision and mission. Quality Assurance System consists of Education-Training, Research-Development and Management Quality Assurance sub-systems.
The Education-Training Quality Assurance Sub-System is aimed at ensuring that the students entering the programs at the university graduate with the above-mentioned equipment. The indicator of the quality of the graduates is that the graduates are preferred primarily in their fields and that the programs they graduate are placed in the fields that are compatible with the educational objectives and/or in prestigious graduate programs at home and abroad.
The Research and Development Quality Assurance Subsystem is aimed at producing added value by producing national and international R&D with all the resources of the university’s academic staff and university. The most important evaluation method of the Research and Development Quality Assurance Subsystem consists of the monitoring and evaluation process of all R&D studies carried out by faculty members under the roof of Hasan Kalyoncu University and in line with the University’s goals, principles and objectives.
The Management Quality Assurance Sub-System is aimed at planning the administrative and physical infrastructure for two sub-systems and ensuring that the system operates with high efficiency as a whole. As an indicator of this sub-system, the university should be higher in international rankings and be in the first place among foundation universities in terms of student preference.
Education-Training, Research and Development and Management Quality Assurance Systems cover the annual measurement of institutional performance indicators, the analysis and evaluation of the measurements, the determination of the measures to be taken and/or the improvement activities-actions as a result of these evaluations, and the continuous review of the processes.
