Turkish Qualifications Framework (TQF)
As Hasan Kalyoncu University, as a result of our approach to qualified education in line with international standards, we have obtained the right to use the Turkish Qualifications Framework (TQF) Logo on the graduation documents of our accredited programmes.
As a result of the 50th Turkish Qualifications Framework Board meeting held on 13 May 2025, the higher education programmes of our University listed below met the criteria set out in the “Procedures and Principles on the Use of the Turkish Qualifications Framework (TQF) Logo in Higher Education Graduation Documents” and obtained the authorisation to use the TQF Logo on graduation documents (diploma, diploma supplement and transcript) .
This development is an official indication of our University’s full compliance with quality assurance systems and of the fact that our education programmes are conducted in coordination with the European Higher Education Area .
What Are the TQF and the TQF-HE?
Turkish Qualifications Framework (TQF) is the national system that defines all vocational, general and academic qualifications in our country as a single whole and relates them to the European Qualifications Framework (EQF). Turkish Higher Education Qualifications Framework (TQF-HE) is the part of this system specific to higher education and defines qualifications at associate, bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral levels on the basis of knowledge, skills and competences. The logo used on graduation documents is the TQF Logo.
Aims of the TQF Logo
- Defining the qualifications of students and graduates transparently,
- Increasing national and international recognition,
- Providing a clear reference for employers and higher education institutions.
Our Accredited Programmes Authorised to Use the TQF Logo
In order for the TQF Logo to be used on graduation documents, programmes must be accredited by accreditation agencies registered by YÖKAK and their accreditation must be ongoing. The 17 departments listed below meet this requirement and have obtained the right to use the TQF Logo:

What Do Our Students and Graduates Gain?
- On graduation documents (diploma, diploma supplement and transcript) the TQF Logo will appear,
- The logo can be used in Turkish and English with a qualification-specific QR code ,
- Their qualifications will be recognised more easily internationally,
- They will have a stronger profile in employment and academic transitions,
- It will be documented that the programmes from which they graduated are accredited and quality-assured.
